Oni is not a bad hero don't get me wrong, but since Ten' Shi is also free even on the Mobile version, Ten' Shi is my alltime fav.Like in most competitive video games, For Honor tier list is in constant flux as patches and seasons come and go. even the strong punches and hits of bosses deal him 0 damage, making him the ultimate hero to hold off strong enemies and also later on the lvls a great hero which can easily kill off hordes of weaker enemies like bandits, Goblins and Orks etc. the Yeti) he gets invurnable against all type of dmg. If he enters rage state while fighting against for example the Juggernaut (Doesn't work against bosses who instantly kill enemies: Them being Sareglaz the Spider Queen and J.T. This can hold off the boss for a very long time, I used that strat to kill the Juggernaut before he was able to reach the 2nd tower from his POV. A thing I love to do is when a boss or a strong single enemy is coming, teleport Ten' Shi near him, just far enough that he takes up a fight with the enemy and since his slow walking speed on short distances he now has to slowely walk to the boss giving you extra time holding him off since monsters stand still and wait for their oponent till they stand infront of them, then before the boss can hit him, teleport him away, then teleport him back quickly again. Ten' Shi is very good as well, early lvl being quite weak dealing magic dmg, later once reaching a specific lvl he can enter a rage state, he does really good against hordes of monsters and thanks to his teleporting if he is not enraged you can hold of strong enemies with ease. Hacksaw is always nice if one particular enemy keeps screwing you over, because of his guaranteed one-shot on his drill (otherwise he's mediocre because of his AWFUL speed and not great damage outside of his first ability). If not, Magus and Denas for range and Thor and Ingar, (who's the best blocker in the game). I recommend Oni for melee and Elora for range.
His second ability is one of the best in the game, being a long range, damaging, AOE stun that can catch far-away foes, but isn't totally broken. His basic attacks to good damage and his first ability gives him a nice change to hit for solid additional true damage in an AOE. He is the only hero to have magic resist (he also has armor) and is generally quite tanky. Lastly, Thor, the last hero, isn't broken but is quite good. His mobility is awful, so bear that in mind. In terms of cheaper Heroes, Magus is always a good choice into non-magic resisting enemies because of his absurd single target damage later in levels and his mobility for kiting and catching foes.ĭenas is one of the best all-all round non-legendary heroes because of his range, AOE, and tower boosting, all of which can get pretty ridiculous late. Oni can cut through hordes or duel large foes, and is generally a good choice.Įlora Wintersong is my favorite, because of her fantastic speed, good health and armor for a mage, high-damage basic attacks which can freeze enemies, ability to slow up and rain damage on hordes with her abilities, and general solo capabilities. He also is immune to infernal combustion.
Easily Oni is the best all-around hero given his good armor, good damage, good speed, good health, an AOE true damage 1st ability and a high single target true damage/potential instant-kill for his second.
